This is a really good puzzle. Everything works. It speeds down the 'road' quickly, going 25 feet. Parts fit a bit tight but that's a lot better than loose. Great job!!!!!

Great product and service!

I have been putting these models together for years now. Everything from marble runs to Tourbillon time keepers. From the most simple to what I thought was the most advanced,(till now). This was the most challenging project I have ever done. I have handled more than one of the “advanced”models before, so I was more excited than intimidated. However I did in fact pay attention to the reviews. My excitement was well placed but I have to admit this was the most challenging of all. The engineering is nothing shy of exemplary. The patience required is unquestionably high. On more than one occasion I had to almost force myself to just stop and walk away. That said… I had the best time putting this together. So much so that for the very first time I am seriously considering buying another one and doing it all over again. I am 69 years old and at times I was having so much fun I felt like a kid. I did make one modification in regard to the side and rear windows and the headlight covers. I used plexiglass instead of the clear plastic included with the kit. Outside of that this build really sets the standard. I have to be totally honest and admit another first. For the very first time I messed up one part that was beyond repair. The error was totally mine. While this particular kit includes an abundance of spare parts, the part I screwed up was not one of them. I had to take Ugears up on their offer to replace a part at no charge, and that is exactly what they did.
Needless to say, if you feel you have the experience to take on a real challenge, this is the kit for you.When all is said and done it was a great experience. Well done Ugears.

If I were to say anything negative it's the wait for it to be delivered and the excitement of receiving it and beginning to build it my wife seems to think I'm addicted to your products I'll be buying something else once I get my allowance from my wife

Absolutely love it went together with the ease I would most definitely recommend this model I think it's a great starter piece for people that are just getting into building this is like my 12th one and it only took me a couple of weeks of building on my days off.

Shopping was easy, with clear images/ videos to help your decisions.
Although delivery wasn't the fastest, this is probably due to orders being cut to order.

I bought this engine for a friend. He is very mechanical and also likes picture puzzles. I thought it would be great fun for him to work on, and great fun for me to observe his attitude and progress on the engine. We are both pleased with the engine. It is only now completed and it runs just fine but a for a few small adjustments here and there. My friend has been very engage, challenged, annoid, and proud of this achievement. Gary, my friend, said that once he started he found it difficult rto put down. His granddaughter is quite impressed and wants him to do a project for/with her.

Sat in customs for a week until I explained what it was

Haven't got it working yet. My a2 part on page 10 is only going one direction. It's like its stuck on something and I can't figure out what. I also broke my release lever, so I don't know maybe that's part of my issue. Hoping I can get the a2 part working as it's not a clock without it moving.Any suggestions would be appreciated.
