Millennium Falcon™

The final result of the Millennium Falcon is superb. Only the spring and gear mechanism used to open the Falcon's petals doesn't work very well.

It was real fun putting the model together. The details are cool, the set is easy to work with and the result is an amazing looking star ship. There are no downsides :)

Tip: USE.THE.WAX if the manual calls for it

This is one of the most amazing Millennium Falcon models, especially considering its very affordable price. I spent several days building it and, although it was an incredible experience, it was also quite a challenging task. I hadn’t built anything from UGEARS before, so I made a few mistakes along the way.

If this is your first experience with this type of model, I would recommend starting with something easier. In general, sandpaper and a candle are essential and should be used every time you have trouble fitting the parts together. Unfortunately, I pressed too hard at times and ended up breaking a few pieces. I must have also done something wrong at the beginning, because the movable parts don’t work as smoothly as shown in the videos and feel a bit stiff.

Despite these issues, I managed to complete the model and it looks fantastic! It’s beautiful, and I’m really proud that I built it myself ✨

Really fun build! Degree of detail is simply amazing. Hyperdrive is visually very cool. Most artistic of ugears models to date. Mechanicals are ok, although, let's face it, how many moving parts would a starship have? Well done.

I think this is the most usable and displayable Millenium Falcon there is in that price range, and even better than some more expensive ones, in my view. The ingenuity of the model and its mechanisms is wonderful, and I think it represents a leap from other Ugears items in terms of sophistication. On the other hand, it's a bit difficult to put together, but not more so than other complex Ugears builds.

There are definitely challenges to this model, but it is great fun and worth the effort.

I have just finished the Millennium Falcon while it's incredibly challenging, the finished model is brilliant. Every detail opens and closes perfectly and the lights add the final detail. Follow the instructions carefully, sand and wax
al the moving moving parts, (l use Vaseline & Emery Boards) the paper parts can be difficult to fit, but look really good. The display stand is excellent. I hope Ugears design models with more pieces. Buy with confidence this is brilliant 👏 👌
