This is the second Ugears piece I’ve bought for my husband as a gift and once again he was THRILLED. The quality is great, instructions are clear, nothing was missing or damaged, and the end result was even better than he anticipated. He was so scared to flip that switch to turn it on the first time, he thought maybe it wouldn’t work, but it DID work and his jaw actually dropped watching it sway back and forth. What a perfect moment for him (and his kids and me to watch!) as a huge Star Wars fan and lover of building all kinds of things. I have a feeling I’ll be buying Ugears stuff as gifts for him for many years to come!
Incredible piece of engineering. I bought this for my son who was absolutely delighted with it. I'll be getting the X wing next. If you get one you won't be disappointed.
Two great models no problem putting them together. Look good work well. Definitely would recommend them. One small suggestion would be to allow both models to be connected to one usb port. Would definitely have given 5 stars butt they are quite expensive. I appreciate all the work gone into them but a lot people like myself on a pension find them hard to afford.
Perfect kit, enjoyed every minute. Beautifule and works perfectly. The only thing is that it was nice if it some sound effects/music module was included.
Bought Tie Fighter with the X-Wing model. Together they recreate the trench scene over the Death Star in episode 4 (and I suppose in episode 6 as well). As a bonus, you can de-synchronize the motion of the two fighters so it looks like the Tie is trying, unsuccessfully, to lock on to the X-Wing. A lot of fun.
flawless design. Most of the real construction is in the "death star" base, which moves the fighter around in a clever varying elliptical pattern that mimics the death star trench scene. Now you just need to add a sound effects chip and a tiny speaker.
I didn't expect the result to be so magical.
The TIE Fighter animation is a real plus.
My grandson loves it!
