Lidé mají auta rádi, takže není překvapení, že nedlouho po prvních krocích Neila Armstronga na Měsíci (Apollo 11, 21. července 1969) už astronauti David Scott a James Irwin jezdili po měsíčním povrchu v „měsíční bagině“ (Apollo 15, 31. července 1971). Vědecky nejcennější měsíční horniny by bez většího dosahu průzkumu, který vozidlo umožnilo, nikdy nebyly nasbírány. LRV („Lunar Roving Vehicle“) byl působivý kus techniky — navržený tak, aby unesl dvojnásobek své hmotnosti 209 kg, odolal mikrometeoritům letícím rychleji než kulky a spolehlivě fungoval při teplotních výkyvech až 500 °F. Tři vozy LRV dodnes zůstávají dlouhodobě zaparkované na měsíčním povrchu.
Představte si budoucnost vesmírného průzkumu s modelem Ugears Pilotovaný Mars Rover, terénním planetárním průzkumníkem s pohonem 6x6, kabinou pro dva astronauty, pružinovým pohonem, otočným spojem mezi kabinou a tělem a plně odpruženým nezávislým zavěšením. An excellent puzzle! It is far more complex than I had thought, and that made it really fun to build! It runs perfectly, and fun to show. Highly recommended!
Model #4 THIS was fun. I took three weeks step by step every other evening. Some of the instructions need to be looked upen several times to really understand and I had to dis- and reassemble one or the other step. I really like the accuracy of the gears and the spring solition as a motor. The rubber drive of the locomotive might have to be replaced some time. Upcoming model is the Hurdy Gurdy

This was easier than I expected. The pieces were very easy to remove and fit as expected. The rover ran down the hallway and is very entertaining. Thanks. p.s. I got the puzzle from Amazon as I received a gift card.

It was fun and challenging to build but when I finished it I winded it up and the metal spring stopped working and clogged up all the gears.
this was given as a present and was very well received.
Putting Ugears projects together is a marvelous experience. The engineering is ingenious. The exactitude and intricacy of the designs are mind bending. I just hope Ugears doesn’t run out of ideas before I have built them all.
A 1/4 off the through so far challenging but enjoyable

Very fun to build and came out nice but some steps are unclear and require slow and careful building. You also need to put a lot of wax otherwise it will get stuck. Would be nice if there would be more wax in the box

Juste une remarque. Il est difficile de dégrapper les pièces surtout sur les plaques relativement épaisse. On est jamais très loin de la casse.
J'utilise un scalpel pour couper les liens mais là c'est quasiment impossible car ils font toute l'épaisseur de la plaque.
Pourquoi ne faites vous pas des liens moins épais ?

This is a superb model. Very skilfully designed. The suspension is great, as is the door that opens and snaps shut. Also the clockwork motor with winder hidden under more doors.
Before construction I coloured most parts, not with paint, which would be too thick, but with special felt tip pens whose ink was absorbed by the plywood and most items clicked together OK. Some sanding was required too.
All in all, the painting took over 9hrs and construction over 13hrs.
I'm 78 and starting on a marble run tomorrow!
A very large and powerful model, the suspension of each wheel looks cool, it overcomes all kinds of boards, sticks and pebbles easily. Great model! I will wait for the expansion of the space theme, I want a rotating rocket :). You can watch the review on the Incredible Gears channel.
Leider müssen wieder einige wenige Gummis verbaut werden. Die Gummis sind jedoch gut zugänglich und lassen sich dadurch leicht austauschen.
Nach meiner Ansicht sind von allen kritischen Teilen ausreichend Ersatzteile vorhanden.
Viel Liebe zum Detail, tolles Design und eine feine Mechanik zeichnen dieses Modell aus.
Die hohe Qualität und Passgenauigkeit aller Bauteile beeindrucken mich immer wieder.
Das Modell hat mich echt begeistert und ich kann es nur empfehlen!
