Aero Clock

Haven't got it working yet. My a2 part on page 10 is only going one direction. It's like its stuck on something and I can't figure out what. I also broke my release lever, so I don't know maybe that's part of my issue. Hoping I can get the a2 part working as it's not a clock without it moving.Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is a second Aero Clock that we have put together.
It worked as soon as we put the weight on it. We are monitoring the clock to get the time adjustment just right. It was assembled over a leisurely 6-day period with an about an hour or two per day. It is working perfectly with the balloon dropping each hour. The instructions are very clear, but you need to proceed carefully so everything goes together as instructed. We are very happy with the clock with the gentle tic-tock.

I love my UGears clock. It is a different experience every day. So enjoyable. I will send more pictures. Thank you. Kerry

Very beautiful clock, this is a right mechanical movement and can see the gears moving and the hot air baloon going up slowly and down every hours running.
Need a more experience and patient to assembly because it may not work for the 1st time to run this clock, I was take almost 8 month to adjustment to make this clock running well. Now my clock is fully run everyday. I can say this is very great! I am enjoy to look it running and the sound like tik tok... Joy and happy.

Challenging build quality product practical time piece for the future

This was given to my husband as a gift; he loved it! He found building the clock interesting and challenging, and he is now enjoying balancing the clock to work optimally

Great product but the directions were difficult to follow at times and as a result I wound the main cord incorrectly apparently so the clock only runs for about 15 seconds and I don't have the heart to disassemble it.

Lo he montado a ratos y me ha durado dos semanas. Se puso en marcha a la primera, me costo ajustarlo,sobre todo el la bajada y subida del globo.
El manual o instrucciones de montaje hay que tener mucha imaginación para ve algunos de los dibujos y compranderlos, pero no es dificil su montaje.

Item was 2 weeks late due to customs hold lacking proper documentation. Instructions for device were at times, confusing. Metal axles for cog wheels would not stay in place. Improper spacings between wheels. Unit will not operate without stopping inadvertently. Shipping box looked smashed, perhaps making several items inside misshaped. Not a great experience for a first time customer.

fun to build it work as clock i like it it’s beautiful

it was a gift from my son for may birthday. i have sucessfully built this clock, and after a long time to adjust the mechanism, it was functionnal for about six months with a weight of 2kgs.
And then it did'nt work any more, and the main gear (motor) was damaged.....
i was very sad....

Though I'm still in the finishing process of putting together this model (I have to setup something to hang it on to finish!), the assembly and challenge has been great! I look forward to finishing up soon-and everything does work!

A great challenge. Had one part break but managed to repair it. Working on getting it running.

Really fun to do but you need to be careful because some of the parts can be delicate due to the nature of the wood. Just make sure you’ve followed the instructions correctly before to push the parts together and don’t rush.
It looks amazing when it’s finished, I’m really impressed with the kit. I’ll probably come back for more kits.

Have not started the build yet, next in the queue but examined all of the parts /sheets and gone through the instructions and am very pleased with the attention to detail- this is my first U Gears but read the reviews and always wanted to build a clock!
