Unlike other wood puzzles from ugear this one was a pain in the ... hand to do. Very tricky to get some pieces out intact, some needed vigorious honing to eventually fit right and I even had to use a little glue here and there. In the end it worked out okay and all in all of the box is quite beautiful, but it does not open/close as smoothly as I know ugear puzzles to do. Still 3,5 stars and the big hope that this was a bad exception.

I liked the build, but compared to other models, I needed a hammer to join some of the parts. In addition, the mechanism does not work well for me due to excessive friction. The manual should probably emphasize sanding more.

I loved assembling this model, and have generally been very happy with the product. However, I found that the rubber bands that control the "spring" mechanisms wore out and broke pretty early on. The box still functions, but it takes a little extra effort without the tension of the rubber bands. I wish that there were a way to replace the rubber parts with real metal springs which would not degrade so quickly.

A beautiful piece of decoration, enjoyed building it. The mechanism is fun and it works well. Really good product.

I have built 5 of these kits and gave them away as Christmas or birthday presents. A personal gift that is always greatly appreciated.

Not happy with this build...parts missing or broken. What I COULD use suggested that I would probably be happy with finished product. I'm glad I purchased this for myself and not for a gift. Won't buy from this company again.

Comprato a Lucca Comics, ho scelto la scatola antica. Montarla è stato piacevole e divertente, ed I meccanismi funzionano praticamente alla perfezione. Sto già pensando al prossimo modello!

This is a very nice piece of work which I made for my 5 year old granddaughter who loves little boxes to hide things in. The mechanism is not easy to operate for a 5 year old so I was highly delighted when the central mechanism failed and removed the lower compartments from the action. The lid is now really easy to operate and the side boxes swing in and out freely - the bottom drawer pulls out separately and that doesn't really detract from the appeal of the finished item.

Love putting this together and seeing it work. I love doing these.

Diese Schatulle finde ich super praktisch und hat ein tolles Design. Hat mir freude gemacht beim zusammenbau und erfreue mich jeden Tag daran.
