UGT-24 Voiture d'Endurance

Had a problem uj joints, would fall apart, after being installed. Otherwise the model is great.

This model is fantastic. I've made loads of UGears kits and have used them in the classroom for hobby groups. I also like making them myself for pleasure. The older ones were held together with toothpicks and, not having made one for a while, I thought I'd re-introduce myself with a more advanced assembly and was pleased to discover this is all click together parts. UGears are super accurate and if you carefully follow the instructions are straightforward and entertaining. Lots of concentration needed but it all fits together perfectly. Obviously UGears are getting better over time and this Endurance Racer is complex and detailed reminding me of a wooden version of a well known maker of plastic kits from Denmark! In some ways I found this more satisfying and the overall look of the finished kit is genuinely stunning. I think UGears should build on the success of this kit and make a range of similar sports supercars and vehicles. Well done and support for Ukraine!

I'm very satisfied with the entire assembly process and the final result, and I really enjoyed it as well! Highly recommended! And also looking forward to the next product!
Small suggestions:
1. It is hoped that the assembly positioning/limiting of the acrylic glass can be improved;
2. It is hoped that auxiliary tools for part removal and interference-fit assembly can be added, to avoid plywood delamination and leaving press marks.

For now it's not built it's a christmas present so i will no review the quality, but the delivery was very bad , the delivery person just put it in front of our door because we were not there during the delivery without asking us where to put it or to come back another day . The carton box was a little damaged by the rain so i'll hope the rest is okay. But i was really disapointed about the delivery .

A very interesting product. Special thanks to the developers. Everything is thought out down to the last detail. I have a collection of your advanced models. I plan to purchase a V8 Engine in the future.

I didn’t do too much of a research about this model and I am shocked how much engineering has gone into it. Beautiful. Thank you. I hope I don’t break it.

Excellent model. Really well engineered. Challenging but great fun to build. Would highly recommend it to anyone familiar with Ugear modelling.

I have been putting these models together for years now. Everything from marble runs to Tourbillon time keepers. From the most simple to what I thought was the most advanced,(till now). This was the most challenging project I have ever done. I have handled more than one of the “advanced”models before, so I was more excited than intimidated. However I did in fact pay attention to the reviews. My excitement was well placed but I have to admit this was the most challenging of all. The engineering is nothing shy of exemplary. The patience required is unquestionably high. On more than one occasion I had to almost force myself to just stop and walk away. That said… I had the best time putting this together. So much so that for the very first time I am seriously considering buying another one and doing it all over again. I am 69 years old and at times I was having so much fun I felt like a kid. I did make one modification in regard to the side and rear windows and the headlight covers. I used plexiglass instead of the clear plastic included with the kit. Outside of that this build really sets the standard. I have to be totally honest and admit another first. For the very first time I messed up one part that was beyond repair. The error was totally mine. While this particular kit includes an abundance of spare parts, the part I screwed up was not one of them. I had to take Ugears up on their offer to replace a part at no charge, and that is exactly what they did.
Needless to say, if you feel you have the experience to take on a real challenge, this is the kit for you.When all is said and done it was a great experience. Well done Ugears.

I have made many Ugears models and love the technical design work and clever ideas in the build process. This key was the most complex I have tried with many working elements reflecting real auto engineering principles. It was very satisfying to build, but not one for novices, with some quite tricky small elements to assemble. More 'fettling' or use of modelling skills was required than usual.
In my kit, which may just be a particular sample, some parts were so tight to fit that as a man in my late 60s, I actually found I did not have enough hand strength. I was obliged to sand some smaller fittings to be a little smaller or used basic hand tools like pliers.
The end result is very pleasing and more than worth the effort.
