NASA Saturn V
Assemble me. Explore the iconic rocket!
NASA's Saturn V rocket holds records as the tallest, most powerful, and heaviest payload launch vehicle ever built, and is the only rocket to have carried humans beyond low Earth orbit. There were thirteen successful missions using Saturn V rockets: the twelve Apollo missions and the launch of Skylab (the United States' first space station) into low Earth orbit. The Saturn V stood 363 feet (110.64 m) tall (taller than the Statue of Liberty), was 33 feet (10.06 m) in diameter, weighed 6.5 million pounds (2.95 million kg) when fully fueled, and had three separate stages that fired sequentially and separated in flight. Stages one and two had five engines each, stage three had one engine, and all three stages used liquid fuel (the first used RP-1, while stages 2 and 3 used liquid hydrogen) mixed with liquid oxygen (LOX) as the oxidizer.
Ugears' NASA Saturn V model joins the NASA Space Shuttle Discovery, Manned Mars Rover and Mars Rover in the Ugears collection of space exploration vehicles. Warning! Small parts.

Awesome build! For those struggling, a few tips:
-sand all burrs even if they already feel smooth; it makes fitting much tighter
-wax tight connections; it makes assembly much easier (and disassembly if needed to fix mistakes)
-soak all bendable parts (I leave them wrapped in a wet paper towel for a few minutes); it allows gentle stretching without breaking
-take your time and have fun! Things break, glue repairs. When all else fails UGears will replace the parts
-mark the steps as they are completed; it makes it so much easier to pickup tomorrow where you left off today.
Made over 6 different ones, some tricky and broke a few bits but replacements sent out. Quality products for any skill set.
It's an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it to space enthusiasts who pay great attention to detail and are amazed by these puzzles.

Looks great when built
Husband enjoyed making it
This rocket looks so good hanging from the ceiling. Really enjoyable and always admire the cleverness and creativity of Ugears designs. I broke three wrap-around parts (my fault) but customer service soon sorted me out. A great company.
This was my fourth kit and although there were some difficulties it was so worth working though it. What a design. It’s so clever and so impressive. Well worth the money. It’s an eye catcher for sure. Well done.
Really like the Saturn model. Just one question. I'm having problems putting Part 26 (Page 19 of the instructions) on the assemblies. They seem to be fragile and break easily when I go to attach it. Any attempt to stretch Part 26 breaks it. I've already broken three Part 26. Any suggestions? .
This is my sixth model and I'm so impressed. The quality and customer service is excellent. This was a very challenging model and requires time and patience. I even found that I had made a mistake and had to basically start one whole section again. You have to take care and look at the instructions super carefully, but if you do, the reward is very satisfying.
I received this model as a birthday present! It's a fantastic model! I really liked the smell of wood during the assembly process. The quality is top notch, I assembled the model without any problems! Recommended!
I’ve had issues with the NASA Saturn V rocket kit including parts difficult to remove from frames (broke the provided tool along with other parts. Lots of splinters) and parts fitting so tight to the point of breaking even when using wax. While other parts are so loose I needed glue. Customer service is slow to respond to emails and not helpful, then stopped responding. Also tried to contact someone through Facebook. Finally received replacement parts after several inquiries and waiting a month. This model is overpriced for what you get. This was my first and last Ugears model.
