Wooden 3D puzzle V8 Engine by Ugears. The model is powered by an electric motor. Eight cylinders with pistons moving in cycle. Amazingly realistic details. No glue needed.
3D wooden puzzle Three-wheeler UGR-S by Ugears can go about 4 meters in a straight line, or turn the wheels using the steering wheel. No glue needed. The perfect gift idea!

Warning! Small parts.
The puzzle is pretty straight forward. Everything fit. The chain fit really good. The first time I wound the spring, it was sticking but still moving the gears. The second time I wound the spring, the spring 'sprung'. I can't wind it and the gears are slipping so I can manually push the three-wheeler. It still looks great.
Good job UGEARS!! 🙏 This vehicle's assembly was a brilliant and surprising, specially the back chain. It's the most complex model I've ever built, with the highest number of pieces. After finishing, I had to remove the front wheels to polish the wood and apply wax so they'd roll smoothly. Attaching the spring was one of the most challenging tasks I've faced in my 10 wooden puzzles. I finally got the tricar to travel an incredible 5.30 meters 😎!!!. Can anyone beat that?😉G
I seek challenging kits and this one delivered. I took extreme care to smooth and wax any parts that have relative motion and was rewarded by a first time smooth running.
Smaller than expected. Tons of sanding and waxing. Enjoyed the assembly. Finished job presentation is underwhelming.
I really wish this model had turned out. I have now busted THREE crankshafts. While waiting for replacement parts, I completed everything else. That includes the very difficult chain. Even when I got the crank shaft mounted (before the bottom piece that fits on it), it wouldn't move.
I have enough broken pieces of wood to start a small fire.
Im waiting on replacement parts but so far I really like the V8 engine. I was putting the ch a in cover piece on and I guess forced it and broke a couple of pieces. Im now waiting on replacement parts. Just wish the replacement parts would get here quicker. Other than that I really enjoy this build.
A great project thus far (still building). Arrived as promised. As always, clear instructIons ( the pictures area huge help).
Everything is fitting together perfectly so far.
Will keep you posted as I progress
Lou
I thought it would be more difficult but enjoyed making it. Makes me think now in my 80's. Would be good to be able to use the V8 engine to drive another UGEAR model. I'm looking for a model steam roller (the type used years ago to roll tarmac on the roads) to work on this winter.

Un manque de clarté dans l'explication des différentes étapes. Les images ne montrent que la moitié de la photo, donc difficile de voir par rapport à la symétrie de l'objet à de réaliser. Je ne sais même pas si je vais finir le montage..
