La locomotora UGEARS 460 con ténder reúne, y supera, todas las innovaciones técnicas y artísticas que los modelistas han podido apreciar en otras maquetas nuestras. Rica en detalles con vistas a un mayor realismo y atractivo, nuestra versión de este indeleble símbolo de la tecnología y aventura del siglo XIX cautiva la imaginación de quienes la ven. No es de extrañar, pues, que tuviera tanto éxito durante nuestra campaña comercial en Kickstarter.

En lugar de vapor a alta temperatura, un tren de engranajes y gomas elásticas impulsan nuestra locomotora, pero por lo demás, su mecanismo principal se parece y funciona de forma similar a una máquina de vapor real. Acercándose, puede ver funcionar las válvulas y pistones asíncronos que transmiten potencia a las ruedas motrices de la locomotora a través de un sistema de bielas, juntas y manivelas.

Pequeños detalles, tales como el minucioso diseño de la cabina del maquinista con escalera retráctil, los adornos art-deco de la caldera, el techo móvil y las trampillas para carbón del ténder, completan este hermoso recuerdo de una época pasada. La locomotora UGEARS 460 con ténder es, hasta la fecha, nuestra maqueta más grande y compleja; sin embargo, gracias a nuestras uniones de contrachapado patentadas y nuestros rigurosos procesos de ingeniería y control de calidad, un aficionado puede acabar de construir esta maqueta de una sentada. Al igual que el resto de las maquetas UGEARS, la locomotora con ténder se suministra con instrucciones detalladas paso a paso, en color y realmente fáciles de seguir.

I have built a number of kits of this type. This was the most complicated. My biggest complaint is that it uses toothpicks for axles. They are flimsy, and several broke and required reassembly. Also, a few of the instructions were incorrect. This requires strong hands and patience, but it is nice when completed.

This is the best train puzzle, and I have made a lot of them. It is far more intricate than it looks Not a quick build, but your patience will be rewarded with a puzzle that is fun and a joy to show. It runs perfectly, and there's a lot of action to see!

Ya hemos hecho dos en casa, el camión y la locomotora. Nos ha encantado construirlos y quedan estupendos de decoración. Pero no hemos conseguido que funcionen y además pasados unos pocos meses las gomas se rompen. ¿Os pasa a los demás? ¿Hay algún otro material para poder hacerlo mover y que dure en el tiempo?

My very first model build from Ugears, It has a special place in my heart. Locomotives had always been very special to me, so seen this was a must have. It's a little more "basic" compared with the newels models, but the gears and mechanism that makes in move it's a delight to see, and illustrates perfectly the workings of a locomotive.

I really like the train with its beautiful design and parts . But the tracks are only 62 cm long , that is just 2 times the length of locomotive . So can i buy more tracks for it without any accessories which are in model"RAILS " . I just want more simple tracks for my model to run more . SO plz help me

I actually I have 3 of these products, The Robot factory, the locomotive and The small ute. They were amazing to build and decoration, but the gears and mechanical sid never worked for me :(

So i finished this Locomotive a few months ago, with was super fun to build and its a perfect decoration. But i want to see it move more. Upgrading this is easy thanks to the design. But i need more Tracks... do i see it right, that this Locomotive would fit on 1:32 Tracks ? or how about wooden Track Kits and Passenger Cars ?

Olá, sou Luciano, moro no Brasil e trabalho com a Máquina de CNC Laser, o motivo de eu visitar essa página foi pela curiosidade sobre seus projetos, pois na verdade eu queria comprar os projetos em si, não o quebra-cabeças, feito para montagem, pois nós somos uma empresa muito embrionária e estamos tentando desenvolver esses tipos de objetos, feito em Folhas De Madeira (MDF), para vendê-los, há alguma forma de venderem o projeto, ou só o quebra-cabeças pronto para a montagem? Do you send these puzzles to a place in Spain called Canary Islands? If you do, thanks.
I just watch the comments of the others customers whom bought your puzzles, so, I'm looking forward to buy one,but I don't know which one... Do you have any recommendations? Maybe the essence in difficulty by more pieces and a difficult structure?
And the last question,when I saw at Tmall（A chinese buy site）they also come with a pack of tools: a little wood hammer, two paraffins（to lubricate）, a small cutter, two sand paper,a multi-use tool card and two thimbles. Do you also come with a pack of tools like what I put there?

Our recommendation is to start with the Mechanical Box (Etui) model to get the rhythm of assembly and then build models with more partrs and units like the Safe, the Steam Loco, The Treasure box....

Each Ugears kit includes a piece of sanding paper to clean the burrs which can occur after pulling them out from the board. Some of our kits (where there is a tiny place for storage) include a piece of candle wax for greasing the edges the parts according to the assembly instructions. The Ugears Hurdy-Gurdy Model Kit goes also with a piece of rosin to lubricate the strings and with a wooden hummer you assemble, then use :)

This has been a wonderfully satisfying experience building a fully working model engine. The design is stunning, so clever and beautifully carried through in the implementation. Everything was exactly as described in the instructions and fitted together perfectly. Now..... what to build next!

you can either buy the rubber bands in the nearest stationery store (as they are standard in size) or we can send you free replacement from our head office in Kiev, Ukraine. If you chose the second variant, please note, that you will have to wait up to 1 month for the delivery, as we are using our regular post.

I've just completed my 3rd kit and I'm still amazed! I've built the Tanker Truck, the Hurdy Gurdy, and the Steam Locomotive with the crossing and track. I'm thinking the car is next and when the good people at UGears has designed a caboose for the train, that will be a must have!

Brilliant piece of engineering, turned out exactly as it should even with a couple of pieces that had to be disassembled and turned round the correct way because I got put them in place incorrectly. The biggest trauma now is what to choose next to build

Дуже сподобався конструктор, класні штуки робите. Чотири зірочки поставила тому, що ви чомусь не поклали у набір запасних ризиночок. Дуже якось це дивно, така річ, може лопнути, а коштує копійки, розраховувала хочаб на три штучки, але ні... усе чітко.. Все зібралося, ризиночки не порвалися, але враження залишилось...

We bought the steam locomotive for our 8 year old son for Christmas and we all absolutely love it! My husband and son worked on it together, as it is too complicated for an eight year old to assemble alone. It requires patience and careful attention. The result though is absolutely charming and wonderful! It works well and is a beautiful thing to watch in motion. We look forward to building more of the models in the future.
